What I have encountered as I move from Primary 6 to Secondary 1
Now moving on to secondary one. During the orientation, I had made quite a few friends already.
Sigh... Secondary school have more subjects ahead. In addition, they have tougher CCAs.
I realised that I was fortunate to wake up at 6.00am during primary school days. Now, I had to wake up at 5.30. In addition, I have to take public transport to school too, which lasts about one hour. Moreover, I still have to come home later at about 5.00. That is almost half a day spent in school!
Well, at least I made some new friends in my new school. Most of the teachers there are also quite friendly and approachable. They have better facilities there, more basketball courts, table tennis courts etc. There also have more fun activities there-like during the orientation,
they organise cheers, mass games which includes a water-balloon fight! Well, primary schools and secondary schools have their own good points, for example, primary schools have less homework and less school hours. However, while in the secondary school, they have more fun activites there. So, I guess it balances out...

Life's a box of chocolates...according to Forrest Gump but in your case I guess it's all about compromises. Good observations. Mr. S.
